TCS Sponsorship

Interested in honouring someone? How about marking a Yahrzeit or a special occasion? Want to thank someone or just want to “do your part” for the Shul & community? Here are some of the potential sponsorships you can consider.

Shabbat Kiddush:

$150 (CALL OR WRITE HADASSAH HOFFER FOR ADDITIONS OR SPECIAL REQUESTS)

Each week everyone from every class and minyan joins together to meet, talk, have a nosh and get to know each other better. This is certainly the main sponsorship available weekly and a very important part of the Shabbat Experience at the TCS.

Hashkama Minyan Kiddush

$120

Our newest minyan always has a sizable group of men staying after the prayers to learn together and this kiddush, while the smallest of the bunch, is certainly well appreciated.

Champagne & Controversy Women’s Group

$60

Sponsor the most popular women’s program we have each week. The women get together to discuss issues, to learn and to meet. A light assortment of treats and kiddush are served and a important part of Shabbat for a sizable group of women.

The Guy’s Thing

$125

About 50 to 75 guys get together every Shabbat for an hour of learning, discussion and a l’chaim or two. Sponsor the week’s learning and kiddush in honour or in memory of someone special.

Sholosh Seudos (Third Meal)

$136 (CALL OR WRITE THE SHUL OFFICE FOR ADDITIONS OR SPECIAL REQUESTS)

For a Shul of our size this program is very successful. Depending on the time of year Sholosh Seudos attracts between 50 and 120 people for a light meal, great songs, a D’var Torah and new friends. Sponsor the event for a special reason and make a difference in this important time each Shabbat.

Weekly Shabbat Bulletin

PLACE AN ADD OR CELEBRATE AN OCCASION BY SPONSORING THE SHABBAT BULLETIN. CONTACT RABBI ROTHMAN AT THESHUL@AISH.EDU

  •     ONCE: $50

  •     MULTIPLE TIMES (MORE THAN 3): $36

Our weekly bulletin not only is available in the Shul and posted on our website, it also is sent weekly to over 400 people from all over Toronto. This is a very well read and perused bulletin and your sponsorship or ad will be seen by hundreds of people. Help us keep it going and improving and dedicate it for a special reason or even advertise what you do.

Sponsor a single class, a series, an evening of Torah study or a semester. There are many different levels to consider from the most simple to more expensive. A special way to seek merit for an ill person, to mark a Yahrzeit or even a happy occasion. This is unquestionably one of the most ancient and traditional forms of sponsorship- Torah Learning.

Shabbaton with Special Guest Speaker

$1,000 TO $4,000 CONTACT RABBI ROTHMAN AT THESHUL@AISH.EDU

Without question, one of the most popular major events the TCS has are the sponsored Shabbatons with a guest speaker. We have a few yearly Shabbatons already sponsored, however, this is one type of serious sponsorship that is appreciated and promoted by the entire community.
